We went to Vegas this weekend. Randomly on Saturday after being in Salt Lake all day Brandon turns to me on the drive home and asked if i wanted to go to Vegas. We looked at each other and said heck yes, why not! So we got home, packed up our stuff, booked a hotel, went to bed early and woke up at 3:00 AM Sunday morning to start our big drive. We made it there by like 10:30 and realized its ridiculously early to do anything in Vegas and maybe we were a little over eager but we still had fun on Sunday. I unfortunately don't do well with not very much sleep so I was a little grumpy and tired the first day but Monday I was raring to go. We walked into a bunch of the hotels and checked out all the fun stuff and got some yummy food. We also rode the NY NY roller coaster which was fun but holy crap that thing hurt so badly! It was like someone tossed you off a cliff and you were bumping and rolling into things the whole way. We also held up the whole ride for like 3 or 4 minutes because we had our cell phone on us which apparently they saw on camera and made us give it up. That was kind of embarrassing, its wasn't like we were trying to hide it, we just thought it would be fine in Brandon's pocket. Oh well. We had lots of fun and it was a very nice get away before all of the stress that will be coming up. We got up Tuesday at 5 AM and drove all they way back in time for Brandon to get to his class at 4:30. I think we spent half the time driving and being tired but still it was fun to just do something spontaneous.
